Soccer Academy
The goal of the Soccer Academy program is to provide young soccer players with an environment to develop their skills to reach their full potential. Our academies offer comprehensive programs designed to challenge and inspire each player, regardless of their current level of play.
In addition to technical and tactical training, we place a strong emphasis on character development, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Our academies believe in helping players grow not only as soccer players, but also as well-rounded individuals.

The Soccer Academy challenges every individual to learn and develop their technical skills in a game passionately embraced in the St. Nicholas community. Through video analysis, tactical skill training and intense fitness programs the students proudly achieve the ability to play the game at a very high level. The St. Nicholas students are also inspired to leadership by running clinics and tournaments for their community.

The Soccer Academy makes use of the following facilities:
- Commonwealth Fieldhouse (Turf Field)
- Indoor Soccer Centre
- St. Nicholas Gymnasium
- ACT Pool
- Rundle Tennis Courts (soccer and tennis)
Cost:
- Grade 7, 8 and 9 Academy: $1200.00/10 months
- One lump sum payment of $1200.00 at the commencement of the school year
OR
- $500 initial deposit prior to September 1st with additional installments over the course of the school year.

Marco Bossio
Academy Director & Lead Instructor
Marco is a teacher and ASA Provincial B licensed coach. He started the Academy at St. Nicholas in 2006 and has helped many students reach their personal goals. Marco brings several years of playing experience and over 10 years of coaching at the youth level. As the Academy director, Marco strives to help his athletes reach their full potential on the pitch and in the classroom.
Dino Bazzarelli
Head Coach
Dino brings over 25 years of playing experience and 8 years of coaching Mens soccer. Dino also has 5 years of experience running the goalie program at St. Nicholas soccer academy. Dino has his soccer-for-life coaching certificate and has a true passion for the beautiful game.
